Synopsis

  • When Vince misses a critical business meeting & his physical (for the Aquaman movie) because he was with Mandy, Eric and Ari start to worry Vince's love life is interfering with business. Missing the physical means, no insurance, and no insurance means no movie. Vince has his weapons training later in the day. They will teach him how to use Aquaman's claw Meanwhile Ari gets a call from Mandy's agent Barbara Miller (Beverly D'Angelo) who wants to have a face-to-face meeting with Vince before Mandy's career goes to shit. Barbara was Ari's mentor, so Ari calls in E for the meeting. Shauna is angry as their romance is keeping all the tabloids busy all over town.

E arrives at Ari's office for the meeting with Barbara. Barbara gives E hell about Vince dating Mandy & getting her to be unprofessional like himself. Barbara has 10 years invested in Mandy and she says that Mandy has not missed a meeting for 15 years now. Barbara wants E to tell Vince to put Mandy on hold till the movie is over. E says Vince is in love. E tells Barbara off, saying he wont discuss Vince's personal life with strangers. Ari then tells E, that James Cameron called & said that Vince can be replaced on Aquaman.

Meanwhile E is worried about Vince missing the weapons training session for Aquaman, as had promised to go with Mandy for house hunting. E checks up on Vince, and he is there. E tells Vince about James's call to Ari. Vince thinks Ari is lying (why would anybody bother James Cameron about an actor missing a physical. The physicals get rescheduled all the time), so they both go back to Ari's office. Ari finally cracks under pressure and admits that James never called. Ari says that like Mandy, Vince has never missed a meeting either. He can be the biggest movie star on the planet and he is slipping, and that too over a girl. Vince goes cold and admits to Ari & that he is in love with Mandy (he didn't want to go to the meeting as he didn't want to leave her side for more than 5 seconds), doesn't care about Aquaman & would be happy living in a 1-bedroom apartment with Mandy anywhere on the planet. Later, Vince tells E, he was messing with Ari (as payback for Ari messing with him). E and Vince don't stop there. When Ari calls later, E tells Ari that Vince had a major meltdown and they are both in Napa Valley and E needs Ari's help. It's a 7 hour drive. Vince and E are at home eating dinner

E's Maserati was stolen and is now at the police impound. Turtle and Drama make a musical discovery when they recover Eric's stolen Maserati. They find a rap album by an unknown artist called Saigon. Turtle likes the tracks, and the CD has the artist's phone number and address details on it. Turtle takes the songs to Billy Walsh as end credits songs for Queens Boulevard. Billy loves it and wants to buy it for $10,000. Now Turtle needs to get the rights to the songs. Turtle tracks down Saigon & makes a deal about being his manager & offers him $10,000 for his track for the Billy Walsh movie.
