Star Trek: Enterprise (2001)

Goofs

Silent Enemy

Star Trek: Enterprise

Edit

Continuity

Trip is disappointed that his long-distance relationship is over; however, he previously told T'Pol that all of his relationships "went bust."
During the Pilot Episode, Broken Bow, when attempting to Steal a Suliban, Enterprise can clearly be seen firing beam weapons at the Suliban ships. In this Episode Archer insist on having Phase Cannons installed on Enterprise.

Factual errors

Travis says the alien ship dropped out of warp 500 kilometers in front of the Enterprise and he had to reverse engines to keep from hitting them. However 500 kilometers is an extremely small distance for the velocities that starships travel at. Even if the Enterprise had only been traveling at one quarter impulse, which is .0625c (according to the Star Trek Technical Manual), they would have been traveling at a velocity of around 18,700 kilometers per second. At that speed the ship would have covered a distance of 500 kilometers in only 20 milliseconds, something far beyond a human's reaction time, there's no way Travis could have stopped in time.
