Mark Major in Star Trek: Enterprise (2001)

Goofs

Future Tense

Star Trek: Enterprise

Edit

Continuity

When Archer first forces the hatch to slide open on the small ship, he struggles to push it and at first the opening is only just wide enough for him to squeeze through. As the shot changes the hatch has moved by itself and the opening is now several times wider so the other characters and the audience can clearly see inside.

Factual errors

When the Enterprise is running from the Suliban trying to get to the safety of the Vulcan ship Archer tells the Tholians they are only a few million kilometers away, then about a minute later T'Pol states they are 600,000 kilometers from the Vulcans. Even at just warp 1, the speed of light (299,792 km/s), it would only take 6.6 seconds to travel 2 million km and 2.001 seconds to travel 600,000 km. However the Enterprise is traveling at maximum warp, warp 5 is 125 times the speed of light so it would only take .05 seconds to travel 2 million km and .016 seconds to travel 600,000 km.
When Enterprise finds the Vulcan ship disabled and tries to go back to warp, the Tholians fire on them disabling their engines. This causes Enterprise to come to a stop, however, inertia should keep it moving at the speed it was traveling when it was hit.

Revealing mistakes

When Archer turns the human from the future around inside the pod, you can see his eyelids move.
When Archer and the Doctor are discussing the dead future human's DNA, his eyes move.
On a shelf, in the docking bay, is the drone that repaired Malcom's leg in Dead Stop.

Miscellaneous

When Reed and Tucker are working on the derelict ship, the picture on Tucker's pad is that of a Suliban stealth ship and not the one they are working on.

Character error

When the body that the crew found in the capsule is on the bed in sick bay, it blinks just as the camera is panning over him, even though he is supposed to be dead.
