Emergency! (1972)

Goofs

The Old Engine

Emergency!

Edit

Continuity

After Roy and John return to Rampart after dealing with the OD victim, John makes a production out of the fact his arm was cut during the incident. Yet when they arrive back at the station there is no bandage on his elbow nor is there any sign of a wound.
When Roy and John go on the call with the OD victim, when they pull in they run over the fence, but when Roy pulls out to chase Harriet, it is fixed.

Revealing mistakes

When Station 51 gets the OD call, the address is announced as "2267 W Hill, Apt 6". However when John and Roy chase the girl, the house number of 11044 is clearly visible.
As Doctor Early And The Two Orderlies Get The Gunshot Victim Ready To Go To Get X-Rays And Then Surgery. The Victim Does Not Have A Gastric Tube In His Nose. In The Next Scene Where He Is Taken From The Emergency Room To The Elevator, The Gastric Tube Is There.
In the beginning when the new engine is shown, the dispatcher calls for station 127 which is the actual station number not 51.

Crew or equipment visible

After Roy backs out of the driveway at the OD and begins to pull forward, the camera shows him from the inside of the squad, several members of the crew are visible in the drivers side mirror.

Plot holes

When chasing the OD girl, Roy calls dispatch to request police assistance to "their location". The girl runs for several blocks and into a building and onto the roof. The police arrive shortly after she is restrained. It is never explained how the police knew to go to that specific building since no one ever called back in to say they were no longer at the girls apartment building.
