- Hanna-Barbera's Marineland is the site of the first rescue. During an inspection by Johnny and Roy, one of the underwater technicians at the facility has a very close encounter with a shark called Amore and needs their help. The guys are called to assist a 17-year old on his birthday; he ate 2 loaves of raw cinnamon bread dough before his mother could bake them. As he complains of tummy ache, Johnny jokingly promises to get the teenaged genius home in time for birthday cake. At the station, Dr. Morton performs tests on the firefighters and suggests they watch their diets. To the dismay of his teammates, this propels Chet into fig, alfalfa and bean curd orbit. Marco will not give up his retried beans without a fight. Station 51 has all hands on deck with an MI (heart) reported by the victim's daughter; she, in turn, is 8 months pregnant with her first baby. Johnny and Roy beg Mike Morton to talk some sense into Chet. An oilman driving a convertible with more horns than a steer has a phone in his car. He reports a vehicle is crashed into an electrical pole on Canyon Road at Mulholland Drive. Johnny tells the male victim to take it easy; his position is much more precarious than his injuries. During the rescue, Captain Stanley is injured by a fallen power line, the resulting explosion and brush fire. Hank Stanley turns out to be an impatient patient; but his absence allows the guys to take a more "hands on" approach regarding the food issue with Chet.—LA-Lawyer
