Factual errors

We are told that Dieffenbachia sap has no ill effects other than loss of voice. This is incorrect as the sap can also cause irritation and swelling of the tongue and throat that may lead to suffocation. Contact with the eye may cause conjunctivitis or "pink eye". The juice of this plant also contains strychnine.

Revealing mistakes

When Station 51 is called out to the "Unknown Rescue" call, Mike Stoker checks the map for directions before the dispatcher finishes giving them the address of the call over the radio.

Plot holes

The station responds to a "Unknown Type Rescue" call to find a man who has been silenced by his wife who laced his medication with Dieffenbachia sap and caused him to lose his voice. The wife thinks what she did is quite funny. However, if there was no one else in the house and the husband lost his voice, who made the call to the fire department?
