Footage of them leaving the boating accident shows a pretty mighty wake being generated by the rescue boat. The next shot shows the boat from a distance approaching the dock, with a smaller, much calmer wake.
On the junkyard run, immediately following the commercial break, stock footage of a different Squad is seen. The stock footage Squad includes a different grill and a red-painted front bumper. The scene then cuts to the familiar Squad with a taller, rounder grill and chrome bumper.
During the boating rescue when Dr. Brackett is studying the EKG the closeup of the scope shows an entirely different machine from the one in the long shot. The closeup includes buttons on the left and knobs on the right instead of slide toggles.
During the trip back to shore after the boating rescue, the medics are asked for an ETA. Gage looks at his watch and replies "25 minutes". Why look at his watch? The ETA would be 25 minutes no matter what the time.
It looks like the cast on the rescue boat is being filmed in front of another film when the mighty wake is generated.
Fireman Roy De Soto refers to the girl in the crashed plane as "Angie." How did he know her name? He wasn't told, she didn't say it, it was not written anywhere.
