Towards the end when Gage is in the helicopter about to leave for the hospital, he is asked what his ETA is. He then looks at his watch and replies five minutes. The ETA would be five minutes no matter the time.
This seems to be a character trait (or a habit of the actor), as John Cage does this a number of times through the series: looking at his watch when he is giving a quantity of time (5 min, 10 min, etc) versus an exact time (10:55pm).

Incorrectly Regarded As Goof; Near the end, when John is in the helicopter & checks his watch before giving Rampart his ETA, you would think that he wouldn't need to look at his watch, because the ETA would be the same regardless. But in television time, when time lapses are routinely "crunched," to get segments done, this could have been the situation here. John had already been in the air, with the patient being transported, BEFORE calling Rampart.
