Boone is suddenly haunted by hallucinations of captain Lucas Johnson, one of the soldiers who captured Da'an. He asks for his help. Dr. Belman doesn't find any sign of CVI deterioration. Lili asks his wife if she knows something. She mentions Lucas speaks to his son in his dreams. Meanwhile Da'an introduces the scientist Rho'ha to Boone and Belman. He has volunteered to participate in a Taelon de-evolution experiment. He will experience human emotions. They will use human DNA as a catalyst. Sandoval and Boone must help in the testing and evaluation of Rho'ha. Da'an opposes the experiment of the Synod, he fears for Rho'ha. Meanwhile the Resistance ponders about the possible donor for the DNA material. Captain Johnson, who supposedly was shot to death, seems the logical person.
