Campaña electoral. A candidate for mayor is found dead. He advocated to create a natural park and also was investigating many dirty businesses. A new candidate arrives to Gubbio and captain Anceschi is attracted to her.

Election Campaign

A young journalist, candidate for the position of mayor of Gubbio, is assassinated during the election campaign, perhaps because of his radical environmental views. Before long however, fragments of a dangerous investigation the young man had been working on begin to emerge. Meanwhile, the intelligent and beautiful Laura Respighi returns home to Gubbio.
