In the restored and remastered version released in the 21st century, several brief sequences are in black and white with a reddish tint, rather than full color as it was originally filmed. It is unknown why or what happened to the color footage for these shots.
Filmed in color despite its intention for televised broadcast in an era when virtually all television was black and white. This foresight to "future proof" the footage allowed it to be edited for theatrical exhibition and re-aired for decades afterwards.
