Goofs

A Nice, Friendly Game of Cards

The Dick Van Dyke Show

Edit

Continuity

After Millie folds, Beth also folds by throwing her cards down. The camera changes and Beth throws her cards down again.

Factual errors

During the poker game, Beth says she has three queens. Lou is upset at having only jacks over tens, which is a full house. A full house beats three of a kind in poker. He should win the hand, but in the show she wins the hand. Maybe he was supposed to say "jacks and tens," which is only two pair, but blew his line.
When Rob is explaining to Ritchie how he marked the cards he says he marked the "ace" straight up and then the "one"... The ace is the one.

Character error

Rob is very happy with the cards dealt to him and says, "Millie, can you deal those cards?" But as he says this, he is looking at Beth.
