Reunion with murder
coltras3525 June 2022
A cruel college prank comes back to haunt four women. One of the four women is Amanda, who is pretty much guilty of being part of a group who teased their fellow roommate for being overweight. She confides in Dr Sloan, telling him about her guilt, and even meets with her former roommate who informs her that she's written a tell-all book about her roommates- it's not long before she gets a dagger in her back. Predictably Amanda ends up a suspect in her murder case, and Dr Sloan and co. Are on the case to prove her innocence. There's some good suspects, twist and turns and hiccups.

Warning: Spoilers
Here the college antics of Amanda and her alumni come back to haunt them. Amanda, Heather Winslow (a philanthropist played by Roma "Touched by an Angel" Downey), Susan Levin (running for political office), Bobbie Burton (a talk show host), are targeted by Nancy Barlow, who was expelled from College thanks to a very cruel trick played by the foursome in a prank gone wrong big time.

One scene was quite telling. It was when Nancy slapped Amanda in a restaurant in retaliation for Amanda's college misconduct. Anyway, Nancy is white, Amanda's black, and if it was Amanda slapping Nancy, you can imagine all the restaurant patrons would have speed dialed 911 and the cops would have taken justice into their own hands.

This episode is one of the few times where Mark, Dolores, Amanda, Norman share screen time, and also one of the few times where Amanda and Dolores share screen time together.

Anson Williams directs this episode. This is his fourth DM episode he directed, and his last DM he directed.

Weird Episode
zombiemockingbird29 September 2022
The story itself is okay, blackmail over a really mean and nasty college "prank", although I am really disappointed that Amanda participated in something like that. It makes me really lose all respect for her, no matter how sorry she is now. I know, people change, but the whole thing just does not sit well with me. I wonder if it also did not sit well with Victoria Rowell because her acting in this episode is just weird. Normally, she is a good actress and is cute and acts very naturally; but in this episode she overacts terribly, and she keeps whispering her lines trying to appear more sincere or emotional or something and it is extremely annoying and makes her hard to understand. Roma Downey without her accent is weird too. The whole episode is just off-putting.
