Murder at mid-term
coltras3518 June 2022
Bright med student Quinn Montgomery turns to murder when he learns that his penniless lover Holly Harris is pregnant, which would scupper his wedding plans with heiress Jennifer Warner. He arranges her death to look like suicide so after poisoning her takeaway he plants barbiturates in her hand, but Amanda points out the supposed suicide or accident is fake since there's no gelatin(due to the tablets) in her stomach, so her food had to be spiked. Dr Mark Sloane starts investigating every single detail till he knows enough to set a trap. This is a solid episode, quite compelling all through out.

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoy watching Diagnosis Murder, and I mean this in every way possible, it doesn't rely on hard-edged realism because really a lot of the storylines are unrealistic, but so what, because in a world filled with turmoil, I just love to sit back and watch Diagnosis Murder. Here Quinn is a scofflaw medical student who not only impregnates his girlfriend (even though he's engaged to a high society heiress), he ends up bumping off the girlfriend because the scandal it would cause and so on.

I like how Mark plays Quinn like a cat plays with a ball of string, and Quinn is sweating bullets trying to evade responsibility.
