Diagnosis Murder

Edit

Continuity

After Dr. Sloan agrees to meet Vicki at his house an exterior shot shows the sun low in the sky to show it's evening time. But when Sloan goes outside to talk to Vicki the sun is high overhead, as if it's suddenly noon time.

Anachronisms

At the bar, the recruit called the sergeant "sir" which is a term reserved for officers.

Character error

In the bar when Steve, Mark, and Leo confront Hansen, Sgt. Baker calls Hansen "soldier" twice. Marines are not referred to as soldiers other than by someone with no military experience (the term soldier is used only for Army personnel). A Marine Drill Sergeant would not make this type of mistake.
The Marine private is supposed to be in boot camp but he is seen hanging out in a bar. Marine recruits are not allowed to go off base if they are in the middle of Basic Training.
When checking the background of the victim, Steve says "NCIC ran her". The NCIC is the National Crime Information Center. It is a database, not a law enforcement agency. Law enforcement agencies run people through the NCIC, but the NCIC does not run people.
When he dials a phone number on the push button phone the last "number" button he touches is actually the hashtag button under the number 9.
