- While sunning on the roof, Dharma & Jane meet an elderly Native American George (Floyd Westerman) who wants to die on the premises, claiming that it was his ancestors' sacred burial ground.
Naturally Dharma invites him to stay with her, and naturally Greg is deeply suspicious of his motives. Greg says that predators like George look for trusting people like Dharma to try and take advantage of them. Dharma says that she has a feeling, and she trusts George. She even trusted Greg when she met him and married him on the very first day. Greg reluctantly agrees to let George stay for one day.
Greg has him checked out at the office, but the FBI has no records. Greg sends Abby and Larry to check in on Dharma while he is at the office. Pete begs Greg to let him come to the dinner as he says that he will have to kiss some behinds to rise up in his career. Kitty walks up to Greg's office and says that her speaker for a charity ball has canceled at the last minute. She wants Greg to ask Janet Reno (the AG) to step in, but Greg refuses to ask Janet for a favor, as he hasn't even met her.
Greg is invited to dinner by the Attorney General of the USA as she has noticed Greg's great work. Greg is really proud of this.
Greg sends Abby and Larry to check in on Dharma, while he is at work. George's death rituals include letting go of the feathers in his head dress and to blow a pipe filled with tobacco in it. Dharma gives her lipstick for George's face paint. Abby wants to help with his death rituals and George asks for a bear skin. Dharma takes George to Edward, who gives him an expensive bear skin rug. Edward expects it to be returned, but Dharma avoids the topic. Greg had George followed by the FBI who saw him entering a knife store. Greg confronts George, but Dharma says that George was simply getting his hunting knife fixed as a gift for Greg for letting his stay at their house.
Kitty wants a last-minute speaker for a charity ball and decides to enlist George. She gives him her own necklace to wear. Kitty wanted George to wear a native American dress, but George showed up in a suit and tie. Dharma goes with him. George tries to smoke a pipe as his death ritual but is stopped by the staff. Dharma intervenes and is arrested.
Greg asks Pete to impersonate him at a dinner with Attorney General Janet Reno, while he goes to bail out Dharma. This meeting could have made Greg's career. Turns out Janet hits on "Greg".
Greg bails out Dharma, but George had vanished. Greg finds that he has Kitty's necklace, Edward's bear skin rug and a Brookes brother's suit. Greg yells at Dharma that she can't trust random people like this. Dharma refuses to suspect George.
They go to the roof and find George dead there. Dharma is sad that she wasn't there with George when he needed her the most.
