Hit and Miss
Prismark103 May 2023
After a few tense episodes. It is back to a humorous one but Hit and Miss has an edge.

Max (Antony Carbone) is hood who need to get rid of a main witness in a Grand Jury indictment.

He has a plan to run the witness over but he needs a drunk driver to take home.

Stan (Joe Mantell) is the poor drunken schmuck whose car has been unwittingly used for the hit and run. When sobered up and realising he has ran into serious trouble with the police.

Stan finds himself retracing his footsteps on that fateful night. His fussy brother in law Irwin proves to be an irritant.

Grace Lee Whitney plays the femme fatale Susie.

Here the mixture of thriller and humour works better than earlier in the third season. Carbone makes for a nasty baddie.

There is further humour with the police forensics expert who likes to read crime mysteries.
