Edith informs the Larkins that Broccoli Colleague is set to close, and Pop decides to pay the Headmistress a visit bearing Champaigne. When Pop learns both the Official and Unofficial reasons for the College's untimely demise, he has a butchers at the structural problems with the building.

Primrose is becoming more frustrated about her life, and the approaching 16th birthday is causing her to reappraise what she wants out of it.

I've not been that much impressed with the very basic performance kinda snooty Catherine Zeta Jones gave prior to this two-parter, but in "The Happiest Days Of Your Life" she is at least back to the level of at the start of the show.

Ever the moaner, I will also never stop complaining about the loss of the first Primrose. Abigail Rokison is too vastly different from the original smart choice, and watching Part 2, I wondered about the difference in style, how much different the approach would have been. But like I said last time, better this Primrose than no Primrose.

David Jason gets an A+ (his Churchill was bang-on!) and Pam Ferrer is of course one of a kind. The twins kinda work wonderfully when they mewl like kittens. And the little girl playing Victoria acts as the perfect foil for Primrose, inspiring me to post Quotes.

I don't normally watch this kind of WALTONS family fare. But...

Charming, charmingest!

And that comes from The Raven.
