Halfway into the episode, Barnabas is seeking to hide from the sunlight in the basement of the Collins house. Interestingly enough, he lays down next to a bag that says "70 KILOS". It's unlikely that the word would appear on a bag of grain (or whatever) at the time (1795). Collinsport is in Maine, and the unit of measure was not in use in either the colonies or Great Britain. In fact, the word "gram" was invented in April 1795 to replace the word "grave" which had gained a rather negative connotation as a result of the French revolution. In fact, the words gram and kilogram weren't truly adopted until December 1799 by the French, and simply would not have appeared on shipments in 1795.
