To save a friend with sensitive information who is being held in the Romanian embassy in Geneva, Drake must break into the embassy, in defiance of the British ambassador, retrieve his friend, and avoid an international incident.
When a British agent is kidnapped in ront of his wife, the diplomatic corps is ineffectual in securing his release. John Drake kidnaps a member of the opposition and, with the help of brutal interrogation techniques, is able to put together the layout of the foreign embassy where his fellow agent is being held. Drake and his allies concoct an elaborate scheme to free the captive agent.
