Walker's line "You serve them on toast, very tasty, very sweet" refers to two wartime radio stars, the double act Nan Kenway and Douglas Young. Their act consisted mostly of references to food, and their catchphrase was "Very tasty, very sweet".
Frazer's demonstration of dinner plates as an anti-tank device was actually practiced during the war, and was taken from a Home Guard training manual.
Confusingly, due to the "Loss" of the previous actual third Episode of this series, from the Archives, this originally numbered episode 4 is re-numbered as episode 3, as of March 2017. The rest of the subsequent episodes in Series Two, are also re-numbered.
As of March 2017, due to the "loss" of 3 of the episodes, in a usable TV Broadcast condition for 2017, Series 2 currently now consists of a run of just 3x30 minute episodes. The rest of the entire series run remains intact, apart from the loss of several short specials sketches.
