Dated, but still hilarious.

The specifics of air travel are outdated - a crazy reminder of pre-9/11 life - but the unease and unhelpfulness of the airline industry is as true as ever. Leads to a brilliantly funny second half of the episode. Cheryl has some outstanding moments in this episode, too.

This one was a bit annoying...

Warning: Spoilers
I get that it's not about the details but there was way too many discrepancies in this episode that really got on my nerves. Absolutely nothing they did at the airport is how it actually works. They could not get through security without a ticket. So if someone stole them they too could not get through security because their identification would not match what's on the ticket. They would've have to of have their tickets re-printed at the counter before they go through security easy Peezy. And it would have only taken a moment when they're at the gate for the girl to look up their tickets and find what seats they were assigned too and have an attendant check those seats! At that time AGAIN the attendant could ask for their drivers license which again would not match the name on the ticket. In the most interesting part of this is that this episode takes place after 9/11 meaning security would have been super jacked up. None of it jives! Annoying.

Odd but interesting

I came to this imdb episode to check the date of release. You've probably noticed this aired in November of 2001 if you came here for the same reason as me. You're probably wondering - why did they actually end up airing this one? (If it isn't clicking yet 9/11 occurred 2 months before this episode aired) Honestly not super sure how it got through. Obviously they shot and edited this long before release day. But in the end a team decided to air it. I think to a degree it's an interesting time capsule and maybe a relic of a "we're stronger than this" type mentality. Whether or not that is the case, it's an interesting look back into a travel culture that no longer exists in the United States.. also the episode is mid tbh. Okay. I'm bored and writing an imdb note. Bye.
