Goofs

Born to Run

Crossing Jordan

Edit

Continuity

An old fling shows up to Jordan's apartment but she hasn't moved out of her father's house yet. As you see later, she finally goes to view the apartment her father picks out for her.
In episode 4 of season 1, Jordan is seen several times having interactions in her apartment with the red door. In episode 6, "Believers", she is encouraged by her dad to move out of his place. He tells her to look at this place and she gets it at the end of the episode. Either the episodes were not played in order of filming or they accidentally messed up the continuity (or both).
In #1.4, "Born to Run" she is seen living in the studio/loft apartment that she doesn't actually know exists until she and her father go to look at it in E6, "Believers", then by the end of which, her dad is helping her settle in said studio/loft apartment.
When Jordan closes her door after inviting her ex in at the end of episode 5 is not on the correct order of the show's time line. The next episode shows her father taking her to that apartment meaning she hasn't moved in yet. Then the beginning of season 1 episode 11 shows what happened with Jordan and her ex the morning after. So watch order is episode 1-4, 6-10, 5 and then 11.

Factual errors

Nigel says that the coffee found on the body is Colombian Sumatra. This would have to be a blend of coffee instead of a specific bean. Sumatra is a place coffee is grown as is Colombia. Coffee beans are either Arabica or Robusta. Note: This could be a Sumatran variety transplanted to and grown in Colombia. The number of coffee varieties has been increased over the years, even if in name only.
At several points they refer to the Federal Witness Protection Program and the FBI agents handling of the case and of the man that had been in the program. The Federal Witness Protection Program is operated by the United States Marshal Service not the FBI.

Revealing mistakes

(at around 8 mins) When Jordan first begins to examine the corpse of the "suicide" victim you can see his iris move and his eyelid begin to close.

Miscellaneous

In Season 1, Episode 4 "Born to run", Jordan closes her apartment door in her ex-boyfriend Tyler's face. However, this door and the rest of the apartment seen in this episode is identical with the apartment her Dad finds for Jordan in Season 1, Episode 6 "Believers".

Character error

At around 39 mins, when Jordan is standing near the corpse laid out in the drawer, the corpse blinks twice.
Dead bodies in this episode are easy to spot breathing in many scenes. At ~ 39 minutes you can see the female body in the morgue actually blinking her eyes.
