When Tony visits the grave only days after the funeral, the camera pans to the headstone. Primarily an American custom, headstones of Jewish graves remain covered until the first anniversary of the death, at which time the family hold the Unveiling, a small ceremony at which the stone is formally made public.
Tony and Rachel are talking and she mentions that he needs to get rid of the gophers. Right after that he leaves the house and up pops a ferret, not a gopher.
