A Fantastic Finale to Season 2

Warning: Spoilers
The season 2 finale is every bit as good as the season 1 finale ("Operation G.R.O.W.-U.P."), maybe even a little better. It has the brand of adventure and excitement only Kids Next Door can provide.

As Numbuh One tries to enjoy a day of fishing with his dad, he finds out that him and his sector have been scheduled to be decommissioned even though none of them are thirteen yet. Numbuh One tries to get to the bottom of this strange turn of events. We find out that supreme commander Numbuh 274 is actually the one turning thirteen, and he plans to send the Moonbase flying toward the sun.

The plot of this episode is really good and keeps you interested. They built up to the reveal that Chad is now thirteen pretty well. This led to Chad becoming one of the villains of the show. There would later be several great adventures with him. It's too bad they botched it all up in the season 6 episode, "Operation T.R.E.A.T.Y.", but that's another story.

It was nice for Tommy to be a part of the adventure and it was also cool to watch Numbuh One try to interact with his teammates while they're decommissioned and don't remember anything about this organization.

The action scenes are fantastic. The opening chase scene is edge-of-your seat and the climax with the Moonbase about to be sent to the sun is filled with great tension.

A great note for season 2 to go out on and another gem in the KND catalog. Highly recommended.
