The round white room where Sarge fought Strayton had a flat floor turning into a slanted floor then a nearly vertical wall. Sarge ran fast enough to climb the wall. This is a variation on the famous carnival sideshow act called the Wall of Death. In a wooden structure, the same shape and about 30 feet wide, motorcycles, bicycles, or small cars would build enough speed to climb the wall. In the 1930s there were at least 100 Wall of Death silos in the United States.
