- Cheyenne is hired to guard the payroll that is aboard the train. A group of men rob the train and one man is shot. On his deathbed he names Cheyenne as the leader of the gang. Cheyenne must find the real robbers and clear his name.
- Cheyenne has been working as a railroad guard for only a couple of weeks. The train arrives at Crestline where the Sheriff escorts a $100,000 shipment of gold from the local mine to the train where Cheyenne takes responsibility for it. The train leaves the station but a gang of outlaws rolls a large boulder on the track forcing the train to stop. A man on the train, Tully, has knocked out the conductor and uses his uniform to gain entry to the freight car with the money in a safe. He wounds the freight manager in the arm while holding Cheyenne at bay. The freight manager opens the safe but in an ensuing scuffle he is killed and Tully is mortally wounded. Cheyenne playing possum hears the gang leader as they take the gold. The train backs up to Crestline where Tully names Cheyenne as the leader as he dies. The Sheriff doesn't believe Cheyenne who says the leader is Cliff Murdock who is a criminal living in Mexico. He tries to arrest Cheyenne who escapes and now is forced to prove his innocence but Cliff seems to have an air tight alibi.—Anonymous
