Lightweight Conclusion
Hitchcoc28 August 2019
Sam ends up in Cancun bartending and the Mexican bartender trades with him. Rebecca will have to marry that kid unless Sammy is her fiancee. This leads to lots of hijinks (love that word). The whole two parts seem a bit asinine.

Hola, Sammy!
Bolesroor30 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I understand that Martin Teal is aggressive, and that he moves fast, but his wooing of Rebecca is more like a terrorist attack than a romantic overture. He threatens, he manipulates, he proposes marriage after knowing her less than eighteen hours. A bit much.

This episode concludes the storyline started in "Executive Sweet" as Martin basically deports Sam in order to get closer to Rebecca. Sammy, who in real life would already be dying of HIV/AIDS, ventures down to Mexico where he bangs everything in a bikini bottom. Gerald Hiken as Dennis continues to add depth to an otherwise straight-forward two-parter, and as far as I can see this is the first episode in which Kirstie Alley began to gain weight, an ongoing saga that is still going strong today.

Rebecca holding Sam at gunpoint might be just a little much, but otherwise this is decent Cheers. By the way, the translation of Spanish Norm's joke is as follows:

SAM: What's up, Pepe?

PEPE: My shorts... the water is freezing!

One Happy Chappy in a Snappy Serape (#7.4)

Warning: Spoilers
Rebecca tells Martin Teal that she can't marry him because she is not over Sam and later even says that they are engaged. But Martin has a way to deal with it by sending Sam to Cancun for a month. Sam likes it so much that he doesn't want to go, even as Rebecca comes to beg him and later hold him at a gun point. But he comes on time to stop the wedding Martin organized.

The second part of the story is not as good as the first one but still a fun episode. The whole thing in Cancun was kind of lame. Not too funny just a bit out of place. But Sam putting Mexican clothes over Rebecca and drawing a moustache on her was a fun moment.
