A resort for creative people
bkoganbing12 February 2016
Celeste Holm is the guest star in this Checkmate episode playing a woman who has a very unique establishment. It's a resort for creative people so they can have their basic needs tended to while they do their painting, sculpting, writing whatever.

But some mysterious and nasty things have been happening and Holm hires the Checkmate Detective Agency to find out if there's a real threat to her life by one or more of her guests. Of course there is, that goes without saying.

I remember back in the day Anthony George was having disputes with the producers and walked off the show. This show had Jack Betts standing in for George. Of course the show was canceled after this season and while Doug McClure and Sebastian Cabot went on to continued good careers little was heard from Anthony George.

I was fooled it wasn't who I expected who was trying to do in Celeste Holm. See if you are as well.
