King Charles III of England was self confessed fan of the show, and visited the set during the filming of 'Magic Fire'. Perhaps ironically, upon his ascension to the throne four of the six senior royals supporting him were female and were nicknamed "Charlie's Angels" by the press (his wife, Queen Camilla; his daughter-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales; his sister, Anne, Princess Royal; and his sister-in-law, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh).
E.J. André after appearing on Charlie's Angels he appeared a year later in the movie, Magic (1978) as Merlin, a retired magician who was mentor to Anthony Hopkins's character, Corky.
