The slides Avery shows of Wes Anderson and Eleanor Case are both from scenes that happen later in the story.
Kelly throws off her sunglasses and visor as she jumps into the water, they are not seen when she is pulled out of the water, but have both returned as the Angels explain the crime. Also she is now completely dry and here hair is perfectly coiffed.
When Kris and Paul are being kidnapped by the henchmen on the beach, Kris is barefoot and carrying her shoes as they start walking to the car. Once they get to the car, her shoes are on her feet without them stopping to let her put them on.
Paul and Wes drop the museum truck by releasing the cable from the helicopter. Moments later the helicopter is shown again with the cable still attached.
Kris tells Paul she'll meet him for dinner at 8 bells. Bells is a naval term for how watches are timed. Bells goes from 1 to 8 on every half-hour which 8 bells is end of a 4 hour period. So it's very ambiguous what time she means without putting some additional time frame with it.
The characters are shown driving on the right-hand side of the road during the VI sequences. In the VI, traffic flows on the left side of the road.
Kris goes scuba diving sporting an inconvenient hair extension in the form of a huge (long and thick) braid. This is evident, not only because it is much longer and thicker than her natural, shoulder-length hair, but because it also wraps tight around her head.
Toward the end of the first part, when the angels disembark from the ship, there are closeup shots of steel drums being played and music of steel drums being played, but the audio doesn't match the visuals at all.
One of Tiffany's (Shelley Hack) written lines doesn't make much sense at all. She says, "I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown", after realizing that Charlie is simply a voice on the intercom.
Edward J. Lakso is the one who wrote that line. He never liked Shelley, which he made very clear.
