The agency is hired by Tony Mann, the owner and CEO of Feline Enterprises, which includes a men's magazine, men's clubs and hotels. His organization has faced some setbacks of late which has costed him financially, but the largest problem is that the last two girls chosen as the magazine's centerfold were found murdered shortly before they were to pose. In both cases, they died of chloroform poisoning, with their hair cut off. In working on the case, the Angels' chief suspect is Danny Auletta, Tony's primary competitor in the business, Danny who wants to buy Feline and may be able to at a cut rate the way things are going for Tony. If it is an inside job, the Angels are keeping their eyes on Dave Erhard, Tony's 2ic and CFO, the two who have argued more often lately about financial problems, and Victor Burrell, a sexually aggressive club manager who may want revenge in having been demoted several times within the organization. As the Angels get close to what they believe is solving the case, they discover there is more going on than meets the eye. Beyond Jill drawing the short straw in having to go undercover as the potential new Feline centerfold, Sabrina has what the Angels collectively may consider the most arduous job of infiltrating the organization by going undercover as Tony's latest love interest, the pain to Sabrina being in not appreciating Tony's cradle robbing behavior of not dating anyone over age twenty despite he himself being closer to old age pension than puberty.
