This episode is a bit of a carry on. At least Peter Barkworth has something to do as he joins Graham Crowden and Geoffrey Bayldon in some slapstick.

Crowden plays it broad as a local sculptor of international repute, John Gobbling.

Lady Collingford, will be unveiling his latest statue, Justice. It will hold the scales of justice that represents Libra, another sign of the zodiac.

Catweazle has heard voices from a wonky television set that he calls the demon box. The voice is of a storyteller in a kids tv show about a king being turned to stone.

When Catweazle stumbles into Gobbling's workshop he sees a statute of a king. Catweazle thinks Gobbling has the power to turn people into stone.

There is a lot of mayhem which kids would enjoy but it is all a bit unimaginative from the first series. I am impressed how Catweazle has learned to ride a bike so well.
