Continuity

The birth date of Paul Millander's victims are quoted as 17 August 1958 and 17 August 1957 respectively, but in episode #2.13, "Identity Crisis", these birthdates are quoted as 17 August 1959 and 17 August 1958 - the new victim's birth date is said to be 17 August 1957.
The "Grissom" name on the envelope that is found on the stool has different printing (especially noticeable with the "G") before Gil picks it up compared to one he has it in his hands.
When Nick is sitting down and speaking to Warrick, the amount of the apple eaten changes between shits.
When Nick is reading the list of people who rented the car to Warrick, Nick's hands on the paper change positions in between shots.

Miscellaneous

After finding out that the blue dust in the fingerprint was pool cue chalk, Nick starts explaining his theory of the crime to Warrick. He proposes that the driver and victim drive to the Hoover Dam via I-93. It's actually US Highway 93 that goes to Hoover Dam. I-93 runs from just south of Boston, Massachusetts, US up to Vermont, US.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

The marks on the ransom note have marks from the drum unit of a laser printer but when they show the page printing from the machine back at the lab it is an ink-jet printer which has no drum. Furthermore, the ink-jet printer makes the sounds of a dot matrix printer.

Plot holes

In Warrick's theory about the car accident, he claims that a thief robbed Bangler before pushing his car over the cliff. But if that were case, the logical thing to do would have been to check the rear bumper for prints. There's no reason two CSIs as experienced as Nick and Warrick shouldn't have thought of this, especially since Nick had already fumigated the car earlier.
When separating the fingerprints and running them through AFIS, the top print on the screen says UNKNOWN. A moment later, the tech says the top print matched Paul Millander.

Character error

When Disco Placid is comparing the voices the first voice is correctly labelled as Royce Harmon, the first victim. However the second voice is incorrectly labelled as Stuart Rampler, the second victim, when in fact both voices are that of Harmon.
