Poncherello is going to arrest the suspected DUI driver without any field sobriety tests. Even in 1982, there were standardized tests that were offered to every motorist suspected of DUI.
The theft and planned use of military weapons would not be investigated by a city police department.
The martial arts are highly disciplined skills. A disruptive and undisciplined officer would not be sent to such a unit.
No matter how gifted a martial artist the female Force Seven member is or how strong the male member who threw her, there's no way she would be able to jump more than 25 feet in the air as she does at the terrorists' headquarters.
After the distraction at the loading dock, two officers search the building and files. Since this is an illegal search without a warrant, none of the evidence obtained could be used against the owner. This would undercut any criminal charges, such as those spoken of later by Getraer.
The speeding car shown at the start of the episode is recycled footage from the season 2 episode "Neighborhood Watch."
When the warhead explodes, an obvious stunt double is used for LeGarre.
During the fight with LaGarre and Nakura, Nakura jumps from a high wall and knocks out two of his own men. No explanation is provided as to why he would purposely do this.
Both Nakura and Getraer call the missile either an M2 Arrow or simply an Arrow missile, which is also incorrect as there has never been any such missile in the US inventory. The actual missile used appears to be an AIM-7 Sparrow. This was a "dumb" air-to-air missile and needed an external radar source for guidance so it could not be used for a ground target.
