When Phillip is giving Buffy a lesson on how to fry the double-meat patties, he has sanitary gloves on. Twice, in cutaway close ups, it shows Phillip's hands (without gloves) flipping the burgers, then hitting the timer button. When the long shot returns of Buffy and Phillip, Phillip has his gloves back on.
In the Doublemeat Palace, Buffy watches a training video, is issued a locker, and introduced to coworkers before Manny the Manager clocks her in. Most places of business would never allow this, and would have had a new employee such as Buffy clock in beforehand to ensure she got paid for her time training, etc.
Manny tells Buffy to work a double shift, so the Doublemeat Palace is open 24 hours a day. However, Buffy goes there at night "when there is nobody there," and the Wig Lady also goes there after hours looking for employees - when there is nobody there.
