I must say that this is another one of my favorite Branded episodes.
A woman who hates Jason so much she uses his picture for target practice suddenly kisses him at the end. Though it's never mentioned in the episode, she no longer sees him as a coward. She knows that the allegations are not true. We watch her slowly come around. Jason respectfully delivers a wonderful testimony in the court, then tells her in a gentle way about a letter her brother was writing.
This is a story of understanding and forgiveness. It could have possibly continued as a love story had Jason not been so hated. We must ask ourselves if Jason will ever be able to settle down and get married...put his past behind him. Realistically, I'd say no...Though Season two disagrees with me.
