Frankly it was kind of a boring episode. It just gets interesting around the last 5 minutes. It incredible how big Cory and Eric relationship have grown in one season. They're backing each other's up in a way you can clearly see and say the big brother/little brother dynamic kind of faded away for an equal and adult dynamic. To all who got sibliyng with large years of difference, I'm sure they know what I'm talking about. Anyway, Eric amazed me with the way he's standing up more and more for himself pushing himself harder and harder and now been actually fighting his fear of failure of not be good enough and willing to get a shot and finally that so long dreamed and deserved award : his ticket to college.
I think he needed more time to grow some maturity experimenting how being out there really was. His year off wasn't a waste of time for what I can see, it tooks more time to a lot of people to figure out what to do, the most important think is going at our own pace if we really are trying hard to get along and looking for our path.
