A strong first part.
DS Boulton is chasing someone who's hijacked a lorry, he also assists an Immigration Officer who's chasing someone who's making a lot of money out of illegals.
It's almost as if the writing team sat down and brainstormed all sorts of new ideas for the show, this one, along with the last few feels very different.
It's a good story, it's different, the episode is very well produced, it definitely works being a two part story. A very interesting ending.
Clive Merrison is great here as Hugh, he's such an understated performer, so subtle, so good.
Those bags under Russell Boulter's eyes, those are pretty scary. He doesn't look his usual self throughout this one.
8/10.
