George Garfield investigates the uncovering of human remains underneath the site where a spitfire crashed by a school during the second world war.
I really did enjoy this, it's a superb story, it's beautifully acted, but it doesn't feel like The Bill. They've definitely shaken things up recently, and this is almost as different as the previous, quirky episode.
At times this one may feel a little slow, but it's not a story to be rushed, it's intentionally a little calmer in terms of pace, but that suits the plot.
It really is quite apparent that each of the show's regulars is getting a spot in the limelight, Reg certainly has, now it's George's turn.
Some incredibly potent scenes, some of George's interviews in particular are terribly good.
Roy Hudd and Tamzin Malleson are both really good here, neither can be faulted, I loved how shifty Hudd's character was, and I really did like the plucky journalist that flirted with, and outfoxed PC Garfield.
Unique, original, it's like no other episode, 8/10.
