Jim Carver handles a failed operation badly, by letting his unreliable about know what he thinks of her, the following morning, her father reports her missing.
Very much the style of episode you'd see in the latter stages of the show, and definitely not early on, it's big and brash, it feels like the seeds are planted here for a future storyline.
Very dramatic, you wonder what on Earth Jim Carver was thinking, and how on Earth he wasn't disciplined heavily for his actions. Mark Wingett was great here as always, Carver does not like being made a fool of does he.
Here we see exactly the sort of character that Don Beech is, he's prepared to help a 'mate' out, but that help comes with a hell of a price tag.
Great episode, 9/10.
