A beautiful young girl, Juliet, is in a terrible relationship with a very jealous man named Ben Dawes. He is so insane that he believes his wife is cheating anytime he is away. When he sees someone riding away on a horse with a white mane, he kidnaps three men riding such a horse. And one of them happens to be Nick Barkley.
Nick is thrown into a cellar with two other men named Bodkins and Gandy. Ben Dawes is a rich landowner and basically does what he pleases. Now he wants to know who was with his wife or all three will hang. So Gandy and Bodkins team up and advised that Nick admitted being with his wife. The two men are released and Nick is waiting hanging.
But with the help of Juliet, Nick is able to escape. But it will not be easy. Ben controls the entire valley and puts a $100 bounty on anyone that kills Nick Barkley. With Nick and Juliet out in the woodlands they begin talking and even begin to appreciate each other.
With Ben and his gang closing in on Nick and Juliet it will not be long before the viewer will change their opinion of the cast. A secret will be revealed which will result in ruined lives.
A very nice episode and well played. Peter Breck is again wonderful as Nick who finally sees that sometimes it is better to let things go than hold on too tight.
