This show was scheduled to be aired on October 11, 1995 but FOX and the other networks panicked when they learned that NBC had scored a scoop to interview O.J. Simpson, who had just been acquitted of the murder of his ex-wife and her friend. Figuring the interview would gather virtually all the audience available in the time period, Fox substituted a rerun of the theatrical film Beethoven (1992) about a huge St. Bernard house dog. The Simpson interview was scrapped a day or two before it was supposed to air, but the substitute programming on the other networks ran anyway, just in case.
