- The last televised wrestling match was such a success that the promoter wants a rematch. Granny isn't interested until Rebecca's "parents" visit.
- The episode starts out with a surprise party for Granny by the rest of the Clampett gang. It turns out they are celebrating Granny being the new champion women's wrestler after she jumped into the ring and beat the the Boston Strong Girl in the wrestling match the previous evening. Granny at first doesn't want to talk about it and rebuffs the party, but after seeing the robe, trophy, and cake, she relents and accepts the gifts and glory. She announces she is retiring as a wrestler though, as she only did it to help that poor girl that was being fought against, Rebecca from Sunnybrook Farm.
Meanwhile, the wrestling promoter, Gene Booth, is meeting with the Boston Strong Girl in his office. At first he is angry with her for deviating from the wrestling script, but when the secretary comes in with messages from fans wanting a rematch, he quickly changes his mind. 'Rebecca' comes in and tells Gene that Granny is for real, she wasn't part of the show. Not only that, she believes the background story about her being a poor country girl with an overdue mortgage who was forced into wrestling. Gene and Rebecca leave for the Clampetts to talk Granny into a rematch.
Gene and Rebecca meet Jed and then Granny, and mistake them for hired help at the mansion. Granny doesn't want to wrestle again, and Jed helps her out by agreeing to pay for Rebecca's mortgage and gives her money for her crippled father too. Gene is convinced that the check is no good but takes it anyways because he feels he can coerce Granny into wrestling to avoid Jed being arrested for check fraud.
Gene and Rebecca go to the bank to have it proved that is is invalid. Mr. Drysdale soon realizes what is happening and tears up the check in front of them. Gene and Rebecca go back to the Clampetts with a pair of actors portraying Rebecca's old and crippled parents. They tell the Clampett's that they will have to fight the Boston Strong Girl's family for honor and money, and ask the Clampett's to take their place. The Clampett's resist until another actor, portraying the Boston Strong Girl's father shows up and insults and picks up Granny and tosses her through the front door; then the fight is on.
At the wrestling match, the referee announces the match will be a tag team, but the Boston Strong Girl's father tosses him out of the ring. The whole family then advances on Granny at once. Jed and Elly May start to come into the ring with Granny, but she tells them she'll let them know if they're needed. She manages to get the Boston Strong Girl's father by the ankles and swings him around the ring, knocking the Boston Strong Girl and her mother out of the ring before tossing her father over the ropes as well. Granny is still the champ.
