Outstanding episode with the 'Yankee Doodle Dandy' mother Rosemary DeCamp as Mrs. Smith Standish the head of the 'first family Historical Society'. Of course she's going to be appalled by the Clampett's primitive living conditions, or is she? Mrs. Drysdale is hoping this will be the nail in the coffin for finally getting rid of the Clampetts. Hubby (Raymond Bailey) may be in for a pleasant surprise. Granny (Irene Ryan) is in rare form and Buddy Ebsen is in for the shock of his life finding out who his ancestors are. For anyone who loves the Clampetts or great comedy, this episode is a must-see.

Ms DeCamp was the catalyst for one of the BEST episodes of the series. Well done ! For the writers , and logistics team they went to 110% with the props. Ms. MacGibbon is the best fall guy ever. This cast played it perfectly !
