When Cordelia goes missing on a routine assignment in South America, Mannering goes in search of her, only to uncover an attempted coup d'état by a deposed former president.
The Baron is similar to the Saint, very English in its style, but what makes it unique is that the hero - Mannering - is an American. Steve Forrest plays him, though he lacks the charm of the Saint ( Roger Moore), he still has a likebility and he's little more hard boiled. He is assisted by Sue Lloyd as his sidekick.
Rather routine excursion of the Baron coming to the rescue of his assistant, Cordelia. Sue Lloyd gets more screen time here, and her character is quite resourceful- I wonder if she was ever considered for the Avengers when Diana Rigg left as I think she would've been a perfect replacement, not that Tara King wasn't good.
