The closing piece of music was released in 1967 as "The Ferret Song From The 1948 Show" by Pye Records (7N 17336), performed by John Cleese and The 1948 Show Choir. The B-side was "Rhubarb Tart Song". Also performed in BBC Radio's "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" (by The Lovin' Pruneful), the tune is "Rose of England" by Ivor Novello, composed for the 1936 musical "Crest of the Wave".
