Frank Doyle : What's that?

Annie Oakley : He's dead.

Pappy Doyle : Nothing wrong with his leg, he said. But there was plenty wrong with his mind though. He's just like my son, Jess. He's got no sense neither.
Annie Oakley : If you don't get a doctor to take the poison out of that leg, you'll be dead inside of 24 hours.

Frank Doyle : Pappy, maybe she's right. Maybe you oughta.

Pappy Doyle : Oughta nothing. She's bluffing. Don't you listen to her. She's in a spot trying to find a way out. Don't stand there gaping and waiting for me, drop dead, get out of the fix, and fix a meal. Yeah, fix the dying man his last meal.
Pappy Doyle : Never mind my leg. You get rid of that Tin Star out of here.
Frank Doyle : You ain't looking good, Pappy. How's the leg?

Pappy Doyle : I'll fix it first chance I get.

Doyle : At the rate we're riding we'll never get out of this territory and you still make jokes.
Pappy Doyle : You better rustle up some supper, Missy, 'cos your father-in-law's come to supper.
Pappy Doyle : Just like when you was kids, huh? Real friendly like.

Jess Dugan : Yeah, with a gun in my back.

Frank Doyle : Pappy, we may have got that bullet out last night, but that leg don't look too good. Maybe we ought to get a doctor out here.

Pappy Doyle : Yeah, maybe you ought to get the whole posse out here, and have a party.
