Clarence Earp says he is a direct descendant of Wyatt Earp, but he is Wyatt's Great-Nephew. He could not be a direct descendant of Wyatt Earp, because in order to be so, Wyatt would have to be his grandfather. For the record, the real Wyatt Earp has no living descendants, because his own child died in infancy. The only known Earp Brother to have any direct descendants is Baxter Earp.
