Paul Hartman, Mary Lansing, George Lindsey, and Dub Taylor in The Andy Griffith Show (1960)

Goofs

Emmett's Brother-in-Law

The Andy Griffith Show

Edit

Miscellaneous

Emmett's wife is in bed for the night, but still has a full face of makeup on, including heavy lipstick.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When the telephone in the sheriff's office rings it sounds exactly like the ring of the wall phone in Andy's kitchen, though it's an old-fashioned candlestick phone and the kitchen phone is a modern dial wall phone.
Emmett's doorbell is sonically only two chimes but there are clearly three physical tubes or chimes mounted on the wall near the front door. Maybe one of them isn't working.

Crew or equipment visible

At approximately 12:41 into the show, a hand can be seen reaching for the door handle to pull the door closed to the court house after Emmett and his Brother In-Law walk in.

Errors in geography

Emmett's brother-in-law says they left Raleigh at 7pm and arrived back in Mayberry at Midnight. He was driving his powerful Lincoln Continental on the trip. The distance from Raleigh to Mayberry is 130 miles. There may not have been a freeway between the two cities back then but their average speed was 130/5 or only 26 mph. Maybe they stopped somewhere in-between for a long supper but he didn't mention it.
